About this job opportunity:
Day to day tasks of this role:
Drive engagement and navigate the complexities of the enterprise sales cycle to build meaningful relationships with Fortune level & large enterprise companies
Strategically lead prospecting, research, and partner meetings to ensure continuous, profitable growth
Develop and execute comprehensive business development plans for prospective partners, ensuring sustained organic profit and load count growth
Collaborate with internal teams to both retain and expand existing partnerships
Exhibit a deep understanding of our client's value-added services, effectively cross-selling across all service suites
Collaborate with internal teams for all pricing events, ensuring alignment and consistency
Leverage our client's CRM to maximize tracking and reporting on prospecting leads, sales opportunities, and customer management activities
Job Qualifications:
5+ years of a successful track record in strategic enterprise level sales experience within logistics/transportation
“Hunter” like mentality, striving to win in a highly competitive freight market
Proven enthusiasm and exceptional outbound prospecting skills via phone, email, and LinkedIn
Proficient in conducting sales and building relationships with senior-level executives (C Level, VP) is paramount
Expertise in managing sales pipelines, forecasting, and achieving sales KPIs
Strong analytical skills, critical thinking ability, problem solving and deep knowledge of transportation modes & equipment types
Experience in onboarding new business through RFPs and contract ownership
Available to travel as needed for face-to-face meetings with prospects and active customers
Exceptional communication abilities encompassing written, verbal, and presentation skills
Someone who collaborates as a team player, actively contributing to others' success alongside their own
Minimal Education Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree; Supply Chain, Logisitcs, Business
